District Head salutes initiative of Royalty Women for Peace and Development Initiative.

The District Head of Yola, Cika Soro Adamawa Alhaji Muhammad Ahmad Mustapha has Commended the initiative of Royalty Women for Peace and Development Initiative ROWPEDI for its commitment in supporting the needy especially women folk.
He made the commendation during commissioning of ROWPEDI office in Yola town.
The district head said the contribution of ROWPEDI to women will go a long way in empowering them to become self-reliant and urged them to maintain the tempo.
Alhaji Mustapha appealed to officials of the foundation to double their efforts in assisting the needy in the society.
Earlier in her welcome address, the President of Royalty Women For Peace and Development Initiative Hajiya Aishatu Umar Bamanga Pariya said the achievements of the organisation include training of over one hundred and fifty women on empowerment skill and visitations to hospitals.
In a remark the founder of ROWPEDI, Hajiya Aishatu Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa appreciated the efforts of stakeholders for moving the organisation forward and called for its sustenance.
Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary Muslim Welfare Pilgrims Commission Malam Salihu Abubakar called on ROWPEDI to support girl child education and pledged to give consultancy services to ROWPEDI to in order to achieve its objectives.
Commissioning the office Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed Binani Gimbiyar Adamawa, acknowledged the contributions of women and the need for them to be given support to better their living condition.
Secretary General of ROWPEDI Professor Anna Malgwi thanked those that graced the occasion.
Cultural dances added colour to the occasion.
