ASUP National President condoles with family of late former Nat`l President in Yola

The National President of Academic staff Union of Polytechnics ASUP Comrade Anderson Ezeibe has condoled with the family of late former National President of the union Comrade Mohammed Ali Kabir who died recently in Yola.

Comrade Anderson who led senior officials of the Union to his residence in Yola, described late Ali kabir as consummate person and generous adding that his death has created a vacuum which is very difficult to fill.

The National President called on the family of the decease to take solace in God adding that the union will look up to them.

Late former National President of the Union, Mallam Mohammed Ali Kabir had led the union between two thousand and seven to two thousand and eleven and became the National ex-officio in two thousand eleven to twenty fifteen.

Also speaking to newsmen Chairman academic staff union of polytechnics, Adamawa state Polytechnic Yola chapter, Comrade Bashir G Adam described late comrade Ali Kabir as teacher whose wealth of experience benefit many people adding that he died in the course of fighting for the unions members.

He prayed God to grand him jannatul firdaus.

Earlier, the National President of ASUP comrade Anderson Ezeibe alongside other executive members of the union have paid a courtesy call on the Rector of Adamawa state polytechnic Yola Professor Ibrahim Umar in his office.

Receiving the Union members, Professor Ibrahim Umar commended the cordial working relationship existing between the management of the polytechnic and the ASUP union.

He called on the ASUP officials to promote welfare of Members at all times.
