Reps aspirant for Shelleng/Guyuk presents free drugs & sport facilities

Grassroots politician and House of Representatives membership aspirant for Shelleng and Guyuk Constituency come twenty twenty three, Mr Monday Simon has flagged off distribution of free drugs and sporting kits in Guyuk local government area.

Presenting the items, Mr Simon said the gesture was part of effort towards improving the social wellbeing and health condition of the people.

Represented by the Chairman, Monday Shelleng and Guyuk Project twenty twenty-three Mallam Muhammad Majji Shelleng, Mr Monday, explained that in view of the importance of peace and unity among the people, he decided to donate set of jesseys and footballs to ten each of the wards of Guyuk Local Government in order to promote sports among youths.

Mr Simon who is also the former vice Chairman of Shelleng Local Government Council noted that the distribution of free drugs is to assist less privileged in the area to treat typhoid malaria and other ailments.
He said the presentation was done to beneficiaries irrespective of political and religious background and urged them to make judicious use of the items.

The grassroots Politician said he has also reactivated some broken down borehole in Guyuk and Shelleng to provide people with portable drinking water.

Receiving the items, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress APC Guyuk local government area Mallam Yahya Bodwai commended Mr Monday Simon for the assistance adding that the party is proud of people like him.

On their part, some stakeholders in Guyuk and Shelleng Doctor Ganda Tabtab, Nyimjir Kolou, Linus Nathaniel and Silas Adamu Bodwai thanked Mr Monday Simon for the assistance and assured him of their unflinching support.
