APC Senatorial Candidate Engineer Numan Flags Off Campaign

The Senatorial Candidate for Adamawa Southern Zone on the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC. Engineer Adamu Ismaila Numan has formally flagged off his campaign for votes in the forthcoming elections.

The flagged-off ceremony held in Mayo Belwa local government area drew thousands of party supporters from Mayo-Belwa, Jada, Ganye, Toungo, Numan, Demsa, Lamurde, Guyuk, and Shelleng local government areas.

Addressing mammoth crowd supporters, Engineer Numan pledged to ensure purposeful representation if given the mandate, and Youths and Women would be empowered to reduce unemployment in the society and reduce poverty.

The Senatorial candidate who was overwhelmed with the rousing welcome accorded him pledged to initiate Programmes that will promote the socio-economic well-being of the people as well as change the narratives of underdevelopment in the southern part of the State.

“We will construct earth dams, construct roads linking Ngurore- Mayo Belwa to Jalingo, Numan Guyuk and Numan Lamurde, youths will also be empowered” he added.

Engineer Ismaila promised to construct ensure roads linking some local governments in the zone that are in bad conditions and ensure equal distribution of democracy dividends which will promote peace and tranquility in the zone.

Earlier, in a welcome address, the chairman of All Progressives Congress APC Mayo Belwa local government council, Alhaji Babangida Talase assured Engineer Adamu Ismaila of their support to ensure his victory.

In their separate remarks, the Adamawa state Chairman of All Progressives Congress APC Mr. Samaila Thadawus, and the Director General, of the campaign council, Mr. Mathias Emmanuel Jauro Odoji called on electorates to give the aspirant their mandate.

Various stakeholders from the nine local government areas assured the candidate of block votes during the polls.
