Kidnapper Kill In Adamawa

The Adamawa Police Command has confirmed the killing of a kidnapper in Mbamba Sabon-Pegi in Yola South local government while trying to kidnap a resident of the area on Friday night.

It was gathered that the kidnappers had a scuffle with some occupants who overpowered them and killed one instantly, after exchange of fire with them.

Sources say some of the residents were wounded in the process and are now receiving medical attention at the Federal Medical Centre Yola.

According to the Spokesman of the command, Deputy Superintendent of Police Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje some of the kidnappers escaped with bullets wounds and Police are trailing them.

He appealed to the general public to report any persons with bullets wound to the nearest police station.
