FCE Yola distributes Palliative to thousands of students

The Federal College of Education, FCE Yola has distributed palliative of Indamie noddles to three thousand students of the college living in the hostels.
Speaking, during the distribution ceremony which was held at Jibril Aminu hall, Provost of the college, Doctor Mohammed Degereji said aimed of the palliative is cushion hardship faced by the students following the removal of fuel subsidy by the federal government.
Doctor Degrereji explained that the college have initiated students support program where staff of college make contributions for the program.
He added that over seven million naira was secured through the students support initiative program.
The provost noted that the college also provided vehicle that is conveying staff and students of the college from Yola to Jimeta at free charges.
Doctor Degreji saluted lectures and staff of the college for their efforts toward the success of the program and called on students of FCE Yola to desist from any form of exams malpractice and other vices.
In his remark, Register of institution, Gidado Ahmed commended the provost for initiating the laudable program and urged him to maintain the posture.
In their separate remarks, Dean of School of Sciences, Doctor Abubakar Bello, and Mrs Patrician Agu described the kind gesture as the first in Nigeria institution and urged others institutions to emulate.
They advised students of the college to be good ambassadors of the institution.
Speaking on behalf of beneficiaries of the palliative, Joy Angelow expressed appreciation to the management and staff of FCE Yola for their support and urged them to maintain the gesture.
