ADAS Credit Guarantee Scheeme Organises Workshop For Beneficiaries

The Adamawa Credit Guarantee Scheme has organised a technical workshop for beneficiaries at Admiral Nyako Training Center State Secretariate Yola.
In his presentation, the Principal Consultant of ADAS Programme Mr. Aminu Buhari, said the workshop is aimed at engaging beneficiaries who are being preselected to conduct Pilot Programme.
The Principal Consultant said they trained leadership of traders, grains and livestock sellers association and marketers across the state that they will step it down to their members.
Mr. Buhari said next week documentation will take place, while the signings between participating parties will be concluded the following week to enable them implement the programme.
He expressed satisfaction as the engagement is pleasant and called on them to stick to guidelines of the programme.
In an interview with ABC Yola reporter, Chairman, Board of Directors of ADAS Limited, Alhaji Kashim Njidda said the program will provide business owners, the security to access credit in their respective banks.
Speaking, head of grains marketers’ association new market, Mubi Mallam Jibrilla Sa’idu called on ADAS to properly screen the associations and marketers to avoid involving fake ones.
In his remarks, executive director, continental logistics Mr. Abdurrasheed Abdullahi said they are working round the clock to ensure the yearnings of targeted people in the state.
Recalled that on September fourteenth governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri launched a five point one-billion-naira Credit Guarantee Scheme for producers, aggregators and traders in the state.
The scheme is a component of Adamawa Agribusiness Scheeme ADAS Programme, which would improve access to loan for beneficiaries and overcome problem of collateral when accessing credit from financial institutions.
