Former Adamawa Speaker presents cash to PDP Executives

As part of his effort toward justifying the confidence reposed in him, the member representing Yola South Constituency at the Adamawa State House of Assembly Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa has presented cash to wards and Local Government Executives of People’s Democratic Party PDP in Yola South.

Kabiru Mijinyawa who made the presentation at the PDP Secretariat in Yola Tuesday, said the gesture was part of the promises he made to carry all his people along irrespective of their party affiliation.

Represented by His Senior Legislative Aid on Media and Public Affairs, Hussaini Ahmadu Har, the Lawmaker explained that, it is only onerous on any leader to set aside political differences adding that, his donation was borne out of love for his people

Kabiru Mijinyawa who is an All Progressives Congress APC member added that, the gesture is part of the project 2020 aimed at justifying the Constituency project granted by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to all the 25 members of the State Assembly.

The lawmaker also promised that the legislature would work in synergy with the executive arm to provide more infrastructural facilities across the 11 wards of Yola South Constituency.

Kabiru Mijinyawa also assured them that, the state Assembly would continue to design legislative frameworks that would be geared toward the welfare and well being of the people, appealed to his Constituents to be steadfast in their support for meaningful development.

While thanking God Almighty, he said that in his over five years in office as representative of his people he has not rest on his oars in being responsible and responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of the people.

Receiving the cash on behalf of PDP Executives, the Party Chairman Yola South Local Government Area,  Ahmed Aminu Mujeli described Kabiru Mijinyawa as a true Democrat and a grassroot politician who plays politics without bitterness.

While acknowledging the leadership quality of the member
representing Yola South Constituency, the party Chairman urged party loyalists and supporters not to renege their support and prayers for him in the bid to steer the ship of the local government to the desired harbour.

In his vote of thanks the Party Chairman be Makama ‘A’ Alhaji Musa Gulak, thanked Kabiru Mijinyawa for identifying with them irrespective of their political differences and urged him to continue with the job well done.

Beneficiaries of the cash assistance includes; Local Government PDP Exco, ward executives from Mbamba, Adarawo, Toungo, Mbamoi, Bako, Makama ‘A’ and ‘B’ Bole Yolde Pate Namtari, Ngurore and Yolde Kohi were they all expressed their appreciation to Alhaji Kabiru Mijinyawa for the gesture
