Nine Local Governments in Adamawa state have established Community Development plans for effective budgeting and implementation.

The executive chairman, Adamawa state planning commission Doctor Marry Paninga announced this while presenting the 2022 citizen budget plan to the Commissioner for local Government and Chieftaincy affairs in his office at the state Secretariat Yola.

She noted that issues about citizens take the center stage of budgeting, pointed out that governance is all about citizens.

The executive chairman thanked Fintiri Led Administration in Adamawa for supporting citizens’ related activities and called on the people of to reciprocate the gesture by being supportive to Government.

Receiving the document, the commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs Ibrahim Mijinyawa Yayaji promised to work with the template for the benefit of the people.

Also commenting, the chairman Network of Adamawa Nongovernmental Organizations,NANGO Ambassador Peter Egwudah called on citizens to protect Government properties sited in their areas for them to lass for the taste of time and the betterment of the state.

He explained that it is only Adamawa state in Nigeria that has a portal in Government shares information on its expenditures.
