Islamic Cleric stresses need to assist Ophans

The Chief Imam of Mayo Belwa Central Mosque Modibbo Ahmadu Liman Aminu has stressed the need for Muslims to assist ophans and less privileged in the society so as be rewarded by Allah.
He made the call during the closing ceremony of this year’s Ramadan Tafsir at the Mosque in Mayo Belwa.
Modibbo Liman reminded Muslims especially the rich, they own a duty to assist orphans by sponsoring their education and providing them other needs.
He said Allah will reward any Muslim who provided a clothing material or food to Orphans out of sympathy.
The Chief Imam who is also the chairman Muslims Council Mayo Belwa Local government chapter said the council through a Committee distributed clothing material to over one thousand orphans in the area this year.
Modibbo Ahmadu Liman appealed to Muslims to pray fervently for peace, unity and progress of Nigeria.
