Executive Secretary, ASMPW Yola reiterates commitment of training, retraining of staff

The Executive Secretary, Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission Yola, Alhaji Salihu Abubakar has reiterated the commitment of the commission to ensuring training and retraining of staff for optimum performance.

He stated this when he received the management of Adamawa Television Corporation ATV Yola on a courtesy call in his office in Yola.

Alhaji Abubakar said the Commission has commenced teaching Arabic language to staff to enable them communicate effectively in Saudi Arabia during Hajj operations.

The Executive Secretary stressed the need for collaboration between the Commission and ATV in publicizing the activities of the Commission and enlightening intending Pilgrims on Hajj rites.

Earlier, the General Manager Adamawa Television Corporation ATV Yola, Mallam Ibrahim Buba said they were at the Commission’s Headquarters to seek collaboration.

He commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for bringing positive changes across Adamawa and the Executive Secretary of the Commission for his initiatives.
