Board Chairman of ATV Yola Commends Governor Fintiri

The Board Chairman of Adamawa Television Corporation, ATV Yola, Mr Senam Murrey has described as commendable the efforts of state Government in restoring terrestrial broadcast by the station which was off-air for over a year.

He made the commendation while inspecting facilities at the corporation’s Headquarters in Yola.

The Chairman who saluted Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his commitment to restoring the glory of the state own media houses and get them in tune with the digital age appreciated the Management of the Corporation the especially the General Manager Ibrahim Buba for his determination in improving the working environment in ATV Yola.

Mr Senam assured staff of the corporation of the Boards commitment to enhancing their welfare and equipping them with modern working facilities.

The Board Chairman maintained that staff training and retraining vital adding that the Board will continue to support staff and management of ATV for them to deliver quality services of Adamawa people.

He lauded the contractor handled the installation of the equipment in the station which led to the restoration of the terrestrial platform of the corporation.

Speaking, the General Manager, Adamawa Television Corporation, ATV Yola, Alhaji Ibrahim Buba  thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for ensuring that ATV Yola is back on air through terrestrial broadcast.

Conducting the Chairman and Board Members of ATV Yola round the corporation, the contractor handled the restoration work, Engineer Kwaji Teri Kwaya said the exercise was successful and the station is back on track.

He appreciated Adamawa state government for giving him the opportunity to contribute his quota.
