Council Chairman lauds Fintiri for construction of cottage hospital

The Chairman, Shelleng Local Government Council, Abubakar Musa has commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri over the construction of the sixty bed Capacity Cottage Hospital and staff quarters in Shelleng.

Abubakar Musa Abba who made the commendation at the commissioning of the centre said the hospital is equipped modern facilities and has Accident and Emergency complex, Maternity, Laboratory Complex, Staff Quarters, Mortuary, Laboratory Complex, Female and Male Surgical Wards among others.

He said People of Shelleng local government are indebted to the Governor for doing more than enough, and still doing more for their well-being.

The Chairman started that the sixty bed capacity cottage hospital and staff quarters has modern facilities and quality services will be delivered to the people, adding that the Health Insurance Scheme NHIS has started enrolling some of Shelleng residents at the health centre.

He appreciated the Governor for his assistance to the local government council which helped it to achieve much including the installation of Solar Street lights, renovation of police station and the Shelleng area court building.

He therefore assured the Governor his support and commitment of the people of Shelleng toward the actualization of his re-election bid in the twenty-twenty three general elections.
