Commissioner for Commerce, Trade and Industry, challenges women to join politics

The Commissioner for Commerce, Trade and Industry, Justina Nkoh has called on women in Adamawa to join politics for them to contribute their quota to national development.

She made the call while receiving an award as Good Ambassador presented to her by an organization, women in politics in her office.

The commissioner noted that activities of insurgents has affected women from participating in politics particularly in the North-East unlike their counterparts in other parts of the country.

She expressed gratitude for the honour and promised to support the organization toward realizing its objectives.

Justina Nkoh noted the effort of the organization in encouraging women in Adamawa and Nigeria as a whole to join politics.

Presenting the award, the National Secretary of the organization, Comfort Ibrahim who represented the National chairperson, Mrs Kate Raymond Mamuno said the organization is encouraging women across the country to join politics from grass root level.

She called on the awardee not to relent in her good work for the benefit of women in the country.
