A former council member, Saint Joseph Lutheran Church MOPOL Barracks Mbamba Yola, James Dan has charged Christians to imbibe faithfulness in all they do as key to earning God’s approval.

He gave the charge in a sermon at the church.

While reminding them that everyone would give account of his actions in the hereafter, Dan admonished the congregation to be resolute in their godly life pursuit.

Taking his reading from Mathew chapter five verse twenty through twenty Six of the  Holy Bible, the preacher titled his message “Faithfulness”.

He encouraged the gathering to cultivate habit of assisting the needy in all their endeavours.

Stressing on kindness, James Dan used Dorcas in the act of the apostle king Hezekiah in first Kings of the Holy Bible whose show of kindness and godliness earned them resurrection and additional number of years respectively by God.

Highlight of the service were infant baptism and songs of praise.
