An NGO State Low-Cost seeks partnership with ABC Yola

The General Manager Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation ABC Yola Chief Alleni Ethan Dah says the era in which people fold their hands and wait for Government to do everything for them is long over.

He stated this while receiving members of a Non-governmental Organization State Low-Cost Youths Association on a familiarization visit at the broadcasting house in Yola.

Chief Ethan Dah stressed the need for people especially Youths to form associations that will engender peace and security of their communities.

He said government alone cannot provide all the basic needs of communities adding that with collective efforts much will be achieved.

The General Manager reiterated the commitment of the station towards partnering with associations to promote peace and tranquillity in Adamawa.

In a remark, the Director Programmes of ABC Yola, Mr Micheal Musa appealed to Members of the Association to take advantage of the various programmes of the station to promote their activities.

Earlier, the President of State Low-Cost Youths Association Jimeta Mr Eden Gabriel Amos told ABC management staff that they were at the station to seek for support and partnership in executing the association`s programmes.

He said one of the aims of the association is to engage in humanitarian activities, adding that they will soon embark on monthly sanitation exercise in the state Capital.

According to Mr Amos, the Association is registered with the aim of bringing Youths and elders in the Community together for a common goal.

He solicited support and Cooperation from the management of ABC Yola to enable the association conduct its activities smoothly.
