Ramadan: Cleric admonishes Muslims on performing good deeds

As Muslims world over are preparing to commence fasting in the holy month of Ramadan, Islamic Cleric in Yola admonished Muslims to strive hard in performing good deeds.

Mallam Musa Malami Kaduna in an interview via telephone interview with ABC Yola reporter said Ramadan is a month full of blessings and bountiful reward.

According to the Islamic scholar, Ramadan is a month of the Holy Qur’an and urged Muslims not to relent in harnessing the blessings in the month.

Mallam Kaduna explained that Muslims are expected to conduct themselves peacefully, and avoid acts that are forbidden in the site of Allah as well as things that will vitiate their fasting.

Speaking on the significance of the first ten days of the month, Mallam Musa Kaduna said Allah will forgive sins of Muslims as well as shower them with blessings.

He encouraged them to use the period in recitation of the Qur’an seeking Allah’s forgiveness and giving in Charity so as to succeed in life.

The Islamic scholar advised Government and wealth to do individuals to assist the needy and less privileged for them to attract bountiful reward from Allah.
