Ahamdu Ribadu College organises inter-House Sports Competition

Ahmadu Ribadu College Yola has organized an Inter-House Sports competition which featured Race, Langa, Relay and Tug of War.
In his remark, the School Manager, Mr Lay Abba congratulated the winners and thanked the entire staff and management of the college for working tirelessly for the success of the tournament.
He said the Inter-House competition is organized annually with the aim to foster unity among Students.
Mr Abba explained that the College is committed to ensure it provides good future leaders in the country as well as expressed appreciation to parents of the students for their support, urging them to maintain the tempo.
Speaking, the Adamawa state Commander of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Mr Femi Samson Agboalu represented by the Chief Superintendent of Narcotics, Mrs Mosoti Mathias commended Ahmadu Ribadu College Yola for organizing the annual Inter-House competition.
He said the NDLEA in Adamawa is working on sensitizing students on dangers of drugs abuse among them noted that the college is among the best school that the agency has not record of any drug abuse case.
At the end of the tournament Yellow House emerged the overall winner.
In an interview, the House Master Mr Mukoro Wase said this is the second time the house won the competition.
He expressed appreciation to students of Yellow house for their efforts toward winning the competition.
Mr Wase saluted the School Management for their support toward the success of the competition.
Speaking to newsmen, the overall winner of the competition from male category, Muhammad Bobboi expressed delight with the competition and described sports as important to the general development of an individual.
Highpoint of the competition was March past by the houses and presentation of prizes to the winners.
