Reverend Filibus Describes the Resurrection of Jesus Christ As a Victory For Mankind

Arch Bishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria LCCN, Most Reverend Musa Panti Filibus has described the resurrection of Jesus Christ from death as a victory for mankind.

The Arch Bishop stated this in a sermon to mark the Easter celebration at LCCN Arch Cathedral, Numan, recalled how Jesus Christ suffered before his death, and noted that death will not be the end of the believers.

Reverend Filibus who took his reading from the Holy Bible from the book of Mark chapter sixteen verses one to eight, noted that the message of Easter is that of hope and is called to action by Christians.

Most Reverend Filibus, who is the President of the Lutheran World Federation, said Easter signifies how other disciples of Jesus Christ endured while being subjected to inhumane treatment during their time.

He tasked Christians to continue to bear the good news of the risen Christ in the face of the unfavorable situations of the country, saying the resurrection of Jesus Christ removes every obstacle in the life of a believer.
