The Adamawa State Government has assured that no stone will be left unturned towards reconnecting communities cut off from the rest of the State as a result of Heavy Rains which washed off some Bridges.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in a statement by his Press Secretary Mr Humwashi Wonosikou expressed concern over the damaged Bridges linking Michika and Madagali in the Northern part of the State and vows that Government will do everything possible to ensure that the communities are reconstructed.

He particularly regretted that Madagali Local Government which has been cut off completely with the collapse of the major bridge at Wurogayandi, will immediately receive intervention.

Governor Fintiri said the state government has been collaborating with various Agencies on enhancing partnership with them for more service delivery.

While appealing to the affected communities to exercise patience, the Governor assured that his administration will also consult the North East Development Commission and other related Agencies on how to fix the affected Bridges.

He explained that the recent flag-off of road projects by his administration was out of its desire to open-up communities to development in line with the eleven-Point Agenda.
