Adamawa state Government says it will soon vaccinate over fifteen thousand head of cattle to protect them against various diseases.
The Special Adviser to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri on Livestock and Aquaculture, Aminu Buba Sebore revealed this in an interview with ABC Yola reporter.
He said government has already purchased the vaccines for the exercise and is set for the flagg off of the programme.
Alhaji Aminu Sebore explained that since assumption of office, the Fintiri led-administration has been consistent on resolving disputes between farmers and herdsmen across Adamawa which was a major challenge in the past.
The special Adviser added that the cattle markets in Mubi, Ganye and Ngurore will soon be reinvigorated to boost economic activities in the centres and improve revenue generation.
He urged herdsmen in Adamawa to support government to enable it to empower them with modern techniques of animal husbandry.
On infrastructural development, health care delivery, education and agriculture, Alhaji Aminu Buba Sebore said the Fintir led-government has done much in the sectors by embarking on roads constructions, building of schools facilities and hospitals across the state.
