NCPC to partner with the Adamawa State Government on farm training

The National Christian Pilgrims Commission NCPC has expressed its readiness to partner with the Adamawa State Government towards sponsoring of youths to Israel for training on farming skills.
The Executive Secretary of the Commission Doctor Yakubu Pam revealed this when he paid a courtesy call on Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in the Government House, Yola Friday.
Doctor Pam explained that Israel is one of the leading developed countries in agriculture and therefore the Commission will support State governments especially Adamawa where the government is investing much in the sector.
He further said his team was in the state to sensitize Christians on the forthcoming twenty twenty pilgrimage and urged the state government to facilitate sponsorship of pastors and believers for the exercise.
The Executive Secretary commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for the achievements recorded in the in the areas of security, education, infrastructure and the civil service among others and urged him to sustain the momentum.
Responding, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri thanked the delegation for the visit and assured the members that his administration will continue to provide a level playing ground for all religious bodies in the state.
The Governor represented by the Secretary to the State Government Malam Bashir Ahmad noted that the achievement recorded by his administration was because of the unity of purpose among people which was created by his administration.
He thanked Christians in the state for their prayers for the present administration and urged them not to relent as prayer is the starting point for any meaningful development in the society.
