“My administration will continue to do just to all manners of people”- Gov. Fintiri

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has received the former House of Representatives member Alhaji Abubakar Mahmud Wambai with thousands of his supporters who defected from the All Progressives Congress APC to the ruling Peoples Democratic Party PDP in Adamawa.
The Governor at the ceremony that was held in the Government House, Yola Saturday, said the people of Adamawa are yearning for change and therefore his administration will not relent until the downtrodden are giving a new lease of life in the state.
Governor Fintiri said his administration will continue to do just to all manners of people and execute developmental projects in nocks and crannies of Adamawa as part of moves to take the state to the next level which will continue to attract patriotic politicians to the PDP and give them the desired attention.
He called on the defectors to work with other members of the PDP and support the government in its effort of tackling the issue of criminality and bring developmental projects to Adamawa.
The governor added that the government is constructing a new five faculty building and two thousand hostel capacity in the new site of Adamawa State University to restore the lost glory of the institution and make it one of the best in the country.
The State Chairman of PDP Barrister Tahir Shehu while speaking called on the people of Mubi zone to continue to rally round the Fintiri led administration and directed the party leadership to issue the defectors membership cards of the party.
Speaking, earlier the Zonal Vice Chairman Adamawa North of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP Adamu Waziri Paka lauds Governor Umaru Fintiri for executing projects in Adamawa which has attracted members of opposition political parties to the ruling party.
In his remark, Alhaji Abubakar Mahmud Wambai who is the Madawaki Mubi called on the people of Adamawa to unite and support Governor Umaru Fintiri.
He commended the Governor for his achievements in the areas of security among other sectors in the state and called on him to maintain the tempo.
