Media Executive acknowledges sacrifice of medical workers

The General Manager, Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation ABC Yola, Mr. Alleni Ethan Dah has acknowledged the sacrifice and commitment to service to humanity by doctors and other medical workers, describing them as heros at this critical time.

He made the commendation in his office in Yola when he granted audience to newly elected officials of the Adamawa State Chapter of the Nigerian Medical Association Thursday.

Mr. Dah who appreciated the contributions of doctors in the efforts to contain the spread of Covid nineteen stressed the need for medical experts to work closely with the mass media to educate the people on health issues.

He declared that ABC Yola will continue to support the association and other medical personnel to promote the health of citizens.

Earlier, the state Chairman of the Nigeria Medical Association, Doctor Abraham Musa Tizhe, said the association has the objective of educating people of the state on health issues, hence the importance of collaborating with mass media.

Doctor Tizhe explained that the visit was for them to introduce new state officials of the station to the management of ABC and seek partnership with the station to create awareness among citizens to be health conscious at all times.
