A Non-Governmental Organization Civil Society Malaria Control Immunization and Control ACOMIN has embarked on an Advocacy Visit to Damare Community in Girei local government area to check cases of Malaria among people especially pregnant women.

A focal Person of the Organization, Rhoda Hassan Chiwar said that Damare Community was identified with inadequate Malaria commodities at the health care facility, and shortage of healthcare personnel among others that hinder smooth fight against Malaria disease.

She explained that the visit was a follow-up aimed at ensuring free Malaria in the area.

On her part, the Facility Manager, Damare Clinic, Aishatu Musa appreciated the organization for the visit she said which will go a long way in reducing Malaria cases in the area.

She acknowledged the mutual understanding between the community and health personnel of the clinic and urged ACOMIN to double its efforts at ensuring free Malaria society.

One of the community leaders of Damare, Adamu Buba appealed to ACOMIN to facilitate the provision of Mosquito Nets to the community.
