Media Personnel Charges To Disseminate Accurate Information

Staff of state-owned media organizations and the Ministry of Information and Strategy Yola have been charged to disseminate accurate information to the citizenry.

State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mrs Neido Geoffrey Kafulto gave the charge Monday while addressing staff of the Ministry and chief executives of state-owned media organizations, shortly on assumption of office.

She explained that with the advent of the social media influencers, state media organizations should work together to ensure accurate information are disseminated to the public.

Mrs Kafulto thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for given her the opportunity to serve as Commissioner in the Ministry and promised to discharge her duty diligently.

She then solicited for support and cooperation from staff for the benefit of the society.

Earlier in his remark, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mr Solomon Kumangar reiterated commitment of staff of the ministry to support the commissioner to enable her succeed.

He commended governor Fintiri for appointing Mrs Neido Geoffrey Kafulto as commissioner in the ministry and called on staff to unite and work together towards moving the ministry forward.
