The Adamawa state Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria CAN, Bishop Dami Mamza and his Muslim Council, Counterpart Mallam Gambo Jika have separately endorsed as surest and safest way out of the COVID-nineteen pandemic the massive administration of the vaccine against the disease on the people.

They stated this when they led other state executives of the associations Yola specialist hospital where they received their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine against coronavirus.\

Speaking to journalists, Bishop Mamza and Mallam Gambo Jika said the World Health Organization has certified the vaccine currently in use by various nations and therefore says there should no cause for alarm Nigerians to worry on the safety of the preventive vaccination.

They appeal to Muslims and Christians to avail themselves with the vaccine, stressing that the vaccination is meant to protect the people against contracting coronavirus.
The clerics said COVID-nineteen has put on hold on economic activities and even at some point led to shut down of most countries.

They explained that this is the reason why health experts worked tirelessly to come up with a vaccine that will reduce the high death rate being inflicted by the COVID-nineteen pandemic.

Vaccination certificates were issued to all those who received their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine at the event.
