District of Song turbans new Maga- Yaki

The District Head Song, Alhaji Ahmadu Saidu has turbaned the Chief Executive Officer of a private concern, Flony Foundation, Hajiya Farida Musa Jauro as Maga-Yaki Song.
The ceremony took place Friday at the District Heads palace in Song.
Speaking shortly after the ceremony, the District Head, Alhaji Ahmadu Saidu charged the new Maga-Yaki Song, Hajiya Farida Musa Jauro to work together with other traditional title holders in Song to move the district forward.
Alhaji Saidu said it is the first time the district has conferred the title on a woman.
The Community leader explained Hajiya Farida Musa Jauro was selected based on her immense contributions in addressing unemployment and assisting the needy in the area.
Ardo Song advised youth in Song local government area to resist the temptation of resorting for political violence during the forthcoming general elections.
Responding on behalf of the new Maga-Yaki Song another title holder, the Gimbiyan Song Hajiya Aishatu Umar Bamanga expressed appreciation to the district head for the confidence reposed on her colleague.
Hajiya Farida Musa Jauro pledged to discharge her duties to the best of her ability.
