BBC Media Action Donates Equipment To ABC Yola

The General Manager, Adamawa Broadcasting Corporation, ABC Yola, Alhaji Abdulnasir Ali has expressed the commitment to maintain existing working relationship between the corporation and BBC Media Action.

He stated this in his office while receiving recording gadgets donated by the BBC media action to the corporation.

Alhaji Ali explained that ABC Yola has benefitted immensely from such gesture in the past and other areas that positively impacted on the listeners.

The General Manager who appreciated BBC Media Action for always identifying with the station pledged to use the equipment for the intended purpose.

Speaking earlier, Head of Production and Training, BBC Media Action Nigeria, Mr. Deji Arusho applauded ABC Yola for broadcasting humanitarian response programmes.

He maintained that the essence of donating the recording gadgets was to enhance productivity and work efficiency among the staff.

Mr. Arusho pointed out that BBC Media Action will continue to partner with ABC Yola for the benefits of the larger society.

He revealed that they are currently working on a project, Advancing Communication in Humanitarian Emergencies, a Lifeline Training for Local Media and Humanitarian Actors in Borno and Adamawa states aimed at proffering solution to victims of natural disasters.
