Center for Women and Adolescent Empowerment Yola has observed that not all the trained ad-hoc staff of Independent Nationals Electoral Commission INEC participated in the just concluded Governorship and state Assembly elections in the state.

This is contained in a communique issued at the end of its Coalition meeting held at the center in Yola.

It said  Issues of favoritism has affected the whole process as many were not properly trained but found themselves participating.

The Center also identified Improper handling of  BVAS, Over voting and introduction of new pulling units as some of the factors that affected conduct of the election.

It however expressed satisfaction that vote buying and election malpractice was reduced as a result of cashless policy of the central bank of Nigeria.

The Coalition encouraged members and the Public to promote peace and shun political and ethnic difference for progress and development of the Country.
