The Senatorial Candidate for Adamawa Central Zone under the platform of All Progressives Congress APC Senator Abdulaziz Murtala Nyako has organised a Town hall meeting with communities in Adamawa Central district.

The meeting which was tagged” Up Front two point zero was held at conference Hall of Women Empowerment and Education Initiative of Nigeria WEEIN in Yola.

Fielding Questions from panel of Anchors of the town hall meeting, Senator Nyako recalled Giants strides in the areas of sponsoring Bills and resolutions and while in the senate assuring that he will consolidate on the achievements if re- elected to National Assembly.

Senator Abdulaziz urged people to reduce over expectation on legislators to enable them initiate and sponsor good Laws for the Welfare and Security of People in the country.

Speaking on Government Policy on redesigning of new naira notes, Senator Nyako described the decision as disaster and called government to reverse it to reduce hardship faced by Nigerians.

The senator who observed with concern how expensive is elections for Youths to benefit from his ” Not too Young to Run Bill” pledged to sponsor grassroot related bills for human development if re-elected Senator of Adamawa Central Zone.

Senator Nyako who described Adamawa APC gubernatorial candidate Senator Aishatu Dahiru Binani as humble and respectful, expressed optimism that she will bring desired change if elected Governor of the state.

He called on Nigerians to stop politicking of religion and ethnic sentiments for peace and tranquility in the country.

Earlier in a welcome address, the Chairman organising Committee of the town hall meeting, Mr Dauda Markus Gundiri Described senator Abdulaziz as a man of proven integrity adding that if re- elected Adamawa Central will witnessed desired change.

The town hall meeting was attended by critical stakeholders of All Progressives Congress APC,Youths and women from seven local government areas of Adamawa Central Zone where Questions and answer session was held between the Senatorial Candidate and participants at the meeting.
