The Archbishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, LCCN and President Lutheran World Federation, Most Reverend Musa Panti Filibus has expressed shock  over the demise of the Adamawa Veteran journalist chief Timawus Mathias.

In a statement the Archbishop said late Mathias will be greatly missed by the church and the society.

The statement noted that God has granted the deceased the grace, during his life time to contribute to human capacity building and development, using every opportunity to positively impact lives, especially the younger generations, until his last moments.

It noted that Uncle Tim, as fondly called, will be remembered for his role as an ardent advocate for peace and peaceful coexistence; his commitment to promoting unity among Bachama people and the Church.

Archbishop Musa prayed for fortitude to bear the loss.
