Muslim Forum embarks on promoting conflict resolution

The Chairman of a Non-Governmental Organization, Muslim Youths for Peace and Awareness Forum in Mayo Belwa Mallam Muhammad Umar says the organization has embarked on several programmes aimed at promoting Conflict resolution and Peaceful Coexistence among people in the area and beyond.

Mallam Umar who disclosed this in an interview with ABC Reporter in Mayo Belwa said the organisation also assisted hundreds of Al-majiris with detergent and other needs to make them appear neat.

The Chairman said other activities carried out by the organisation include offering financial assistance to orphans and girls during their Marriage ceremony.

Mallam Umar identified lack of funds as major challenges hindering the smooth operation of the organization and appealed to Individuals to assist it in that regard.
