Ophans committee chair solicits assistance to complete ophans school

The Chairman Orphan’s Committee of Muslim Council Mayo Belwa local Government area has solicited assistance from wealthy individuals to assist the committee to complete the construction of an orphan`s school Yateem Academy in the area.

Alhaji Salihu Bawuro made the plea in an interview with ABC Yola reporter adding that the committee had already fenced and drilled boreholes at the site of the project.

He said the project when completed will admit Orphans free of charge to give them sound knowledge on both Islam and western education.

The Chairman announced that the committee had distributed learning Materials, shoes and settled school fees of sixty-six orphans in Mayo Belwa local government area.

On his part, the Chief Imam of Mayo Belwa Jummu`at Mosque of jama`atu Izalatul bid`a wa ikamatu Sunnah with headquarters in Jos, Mallam Yahya Liman enjoined Muslims to assist orphans in the society as doing so will attract blessings from Allah.

He called on the benefitting orphans to use the items judiciously.
