The National Chairman of Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, Alhaji Zikirullahi Kunle Hassan has expressed the determination of the Commission towards making Hajj affordable to Nigerians.

He stated this when he led senior officials of the Commission to inspect NAHCON projects at Hajj Camp in Yola.

The National Chairman said despite the hike in dollar and increase of VAT by Saudi authorities from five percent to fifteen percent, the Commission will do its best to ensure intending pilgrims afford to observe Hajj.

Alhaji Zikirullahi Kunle commended Adamawa state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission for ensuring conducive working environment to staff.

The National Chairman who expressed satisfaction with the level of work on hotel accommodation, two thousand capacity Conference halls which is being under construction by the Commission also lauded Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission for completing Hajj Camp Mosque.

In his remark, the Executive Secretary Adamawa state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission, Alhaji Salihu Abubakar said the commission has imbibe the culture of training and retraining of its staff to enhance their working capacity especially during Hajj operations.

He told the NAHCON Chairman that the commission has also rehabilitated some offices of staff for conducive working environment while the administrative block of the Commission is under construction.

Earlier, in a welcome address, the Adamawa state Chairman of Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Commission Shaikh Ibrahim Abubakar Daware described the NAHCON visit as fruitful and solicit for more support.

The state Chairman Muslim Council Alhaji Gambo Jika appreciated the NAHCON delegation for the visit.
