Non-denominational Christian Organization presents Hero of peace Award to religious leaders in Adamawa

Nondenominational Christian Organization, Seed Sowers Ministry International, has presented Bishop of LCCN Yola diocese, Reverend Amos Jika Yakubu and Chairman Muslim Council of Nigeria Adamawa state chapter, Alhaji Gambo Jika with a "Hero of Peace" award against the backdrop of the International Day of Peace.

A nondenominational Christian Organization, Seed Sowers Ministry International, has presented Bishop of LCCN Yola diocese, Reverend Amos Jika Yakubu and Chairman Muslim Council of Nigeria Adamawa state chapter, Alhaji Gambo Jika with a “Hero of Peace” award against the backdrop of the International Day of Peace.

Presenting the award at the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria, LCCN, Cathedral Nasarawo Jimeta Yola and and state Muslim council office Yola respectively, the Visioner of the ministry, Dean Reverend Ozumba Emmanuel Nicodemus described the award as well deserved.

Dean Reverend Nicodemus, who saluted the awardees for championing the course of peace and encouraged them to continue in that regard.

He called on Nigerians to maintain peace at all times for more meaningful development.

Responding separately, the awardees, Bishop of the LCCN, Yola diocese, Reverend Amos Jika Yakubu and Adamawa state Muslim Council chairman, Alhaji Gambo Jika expressed gratitude for the honor reiterated their commitment to promoting peace.

The awardees challenged youths and politicians to desist from instigating or promoting violence of any form.

Corroborating, a senior pastor with the House of Miracle Church Yola, Pastor Alte Istifanus commended the visioner, Seed Sowers Ministry International, Dean Reverend Ozumba Emmanuel Nicodemus for his effort in peace building.

Pastor Istifanus who described as worthwhile and exemplary what the ministry is doing, challenged young ministers and Nigerians to do likewise.

In the spirit of the International Peace Day, the ministry has presented relief palliative to Internally Displaced Persons at Damare IDPs Camps with one hundred and thirty packs of food items.

Others beneficiaries are widows one hundred packs, physically challenged persons fifty packs and vulnerable twenty packs.

Seed Sowers Ministry International is scheduled to present similar award to Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the Adamawa state Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN Bishop Dami Mamza.
