The Chief Imam of Lelewalji Jumma`at Mosque says the hardship people are passing through will be minimized if people return to God.

Liman Tukur Abbare who made the remark said the conditions people find themselves calls for prayers.

The chief Imam harps on the need for people to fear God and repent their sins.

He called on Muslims to follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon his and shun acts capable of denting the image of Islam.

Meanwhile an Islamic scholar in Yola, Mallam Tashiu has called on leaders in the country to fine tune their style of leadership and ensure that ills perpetrated in the society are halted.

He made the remark while delivering his weekly Tafsir at Abu Huraira Mosque Wuro Dole Yola town adding that it is disheartening that leaders allowed people to commit sins with impunity.

The Islamic scholar attributed the insufficient rainfall to disobeying  Allahs order by majority of the people, and called on leaders to enforce laws that will deter people from evil acts.

Mallam Tashiu reminded wealthy Muslims on the immense reward for any person that uses his wealth and assists the community in whatever forms, particularly at this critical moment.
