Governor Fintiri condoles Lamido Adamawa over death over of Haj. Khadjiya

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri Sunday condoled with Lamido Adamawa, Doctor Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha over the death of Hajiya Khadija Aliyu Mustapha recently.

The Governor who was in the Lamido’s palace in Yola, described late Khadija as a strong pillar who worked tirelessly in peace building and progress of the state.

He said death is inevitable and urged Lamido Adamawa and the entire royal family to take solace in God while praying to Allah to grant the soul of the departed, Aljannatul Firdausi.

Responding, Lamido Adamawa, Doctor Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha thanked Governor Umaru Fintiri for the visit and prayed to Allah to reward him abundantly.

Earlier on, Governor Umaru Fintiri was at the residence of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar for a similar visit to condole with one of the wives, Rukayya Atiku Abubakar over the death of her mother, Khadija Aliyu Mustapha.

Governor Umaru Fintiri during the separate visits was accompanied by the Chief of Staff, Government House, Yola Professor Maxwell Gidado among other top government officials.
