An NGO Founder Bags Award of Excellent

Mr Marcus Gamache the founder of a non-governmental organization inter faith internally Displaced People’s camp Gurgu has been bestowed with an award as mirror of Africa leadership,  for his transparency, and  outstanding role  in the rescue of Nigeria at risk in the North East.

Receiving   the award which was presented to him by the G four media international at Gurgu IDP camp in Karu local Government of Nassarawa State.Mr Marcus Gamache said he dedicated the award to his wife Mrs janada marcus for standing by him in all the struggle in rescueing victims of Boko Haram in the North East.

He explained that, the motive behind reaching out to the less previlage is part of his life pointing out that coming from Christian and Muslim family   he deemed it necessary to support adherent of the two religions.

Mr Marcus Gamache said he has started assisting the IDP since twenty fourteen by sheltering more than sixty people in his house in Jos stressing that when their number increased he decided to look for an alternative place where they could engage in farming and other businesses.

He appeal to Government, wealthy individuals and organization to always respect, and show love to those in need.

Presenting the award, the chairman of G four media, International comrade Emmanuel Stephen said the G four media is a renowned media organization affiliated to over twenty three Nigeria media and seven international media outfits.

Comrade Emmanuel Stephen described Mr Marcus Gamache as, a philanthropic who built houses for displaced persons irrespective of their religious or ethnic affiliation.

Also speaking the country representative of lifeline Compassionate global initiatives Doctor Joseph Yakubu described the award to Mr Gamache as well deserved.

Doctor Joseph Yakubu called on Government and humanitarian aid agencies to ensure that what is appropriated get to displace person them stressing that there is need to put in place monitoring mechanism for effective service delivery.

In remark the chairman of inter faith IDP camp gurgu yohanna Zidiko both expressed appreciation to  Mr Gamache  for his support to internally  displaced  persons and prayed God to continue to bless him abundantly.

Other sons and daughters of Adamawa who received award from G-Four for their philanthropic include senator Elisha Ishaku Abbo,Mr Kwamoti laori, Hajiya Binta Bakari and Mrs janada Marcus.
