An international Non-governmental Organization plan international has rehabilitated a Primary Health Care Centre and supplied over four hundred desks to be distributed to some schools In Michika Local Government Area.

The country Director of the Organization, Abdul-hussaini disclosed this while commissioning the projects in Michika.
He said the Organizations renovated the Health Care facility and is now rendering efficient hospital services.
The country Director added that COVID-nineteen safe equipment has also been provided at the centre.
Mr Hussaini also stated that plan international build two blocks of classrooms and renovated some others for conducive teaching and learning in the benefitting schools.


In their remarks, the Chairman Adamawa State Universal Basic Education Board Director, Salihi Ibrahim Atiku and the Executive Secretary Primary Healthcare Development Agency Doctor Bashir Sulaiman, expressed appreciation to plan International which is being funded by BMZ, saying the intervention is timely and assured that government will provide modalities for sustaining the facilities.
They also applauded the organization for initiating a programme known as Opens its space specifically designed to provide Psychotherapy to girls and women.
On their part some representatives of the benefiting communities thanked the Organisation for its interventions in Health and Education sectors.
Communities that benefitted from the interventions included Yambule, Kuburshosho, Chisdawel, Warambuge Tudun wada and Michika town.
