NACREN Distributes Over 2000 Books To Schools

The chairman National Association of Christian Educators of Nigeria (NACREN) Adamawa State Chapter, Reverent Timon Umaru Yunusa says the organization has distributed two thousand pieces of books to three hundred schools across the state.

The chairman National Association of Christian Educators of Nigeria (NACREN) Adamawa State Chapter, Reverent Timon Umaru Yunusa says the organization has distributed two thousand pieces of books to three hundred schools across the state.

He stated this Friday while flagging-off the distribution of the books at Capital School Jimeta.

The chairman noted that the aim of the exercise is to promote the teaching of Christian Religion knowledge in the state.

Reverent Yunusa thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, Deputy Governor Crowther Seth and the Member representing Demsa, Numan and Lamurde Constituency as well as the member of the national Assembly Kwaomoti La’ori for their contribution to the association and charged the beneficiaries to take Christian religious education as a ministry adding that they are foot soldiers of Jesus Christ.

Speaking, the commissioner of Education and Human Capital Development, Mrs Wilbina Jackson who was represented by the Director of sports in the ministry Pastor Dickson Tinism Monday stated that religious knowledge teachers owe Nigeria the responsibility to import knowledge to students and    commended the association for its work.

Pastor Tinism who is also the desk officer Christian Relief Service urged them to maintain the tempo.

Some of the beneficiaries interviewed include Reverend Eli Batimawus from College of Education Hong and Mrs Dingeduna Bonota a teacher in Capital School who explained their views.
