Trailer kills two people in Mubi

Two people died and nine others sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of accident involving a Trailer and Keke Napep at Mubi main Market.
The injured are now receiving medical attention at the General Hospital Mubi while one was referred to Federal Medica Centre Yola.
The Secretary, Mubi North local government council, Alhaji Suleiman Ibrahim Audu popularly called Shala who confirmed the story said the Chairman of the local government Alhaji Suleiman Yahaya Sudi has ordered the council to offset all medical bills of the victims.
He explained the incident which occurred around five o’clock in the evening on Thursday followed a break failure by the trailer loaded with waste materials heading to a destination for off loading.
Reacting, the Chairman Chamber of Commerce, Mines, Industry and Agriculture, Mubi branch Alhaji Abdulkadir Musa described the incident as unfortunate and condoled with the families of the deceased persons and wished those hospitalized quick recovery.
