Yungur Community Extol Gov Fintiri For Restoration Of Yungur Chiefdom

The people of Yungur Chiefdom in Song local government area have expressed for the restoration of their chiefdom by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri after over a decade without paramount ruler.
The historic event will go into the annals of Yungur chiefdom that attracted a mammoth crowd from Adamawa and beyond.
The Yungur people who were predominately farmers made their feelings Thursday during the presentation of staff of office to Gubo Yungur, HRM, Johnson Diyo Matalo by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, also also expressed their unalloyed support to the paramount ruler of the kindom.
The chairman coronation committee, Justice Adamu Hobon (retired) and Hon. Idris Yahaya, Chairman of Song Local Government council in their speeches acknowledge significant feats achieved in the area under Fintiri led administration and thanked him for the courage in restoring their chiefdom.
On his part, the Chief of Staff to Governor Ahmadu Umar Finitri, Dr Edgar Amos Sunday thanked the governor for the courage he showed in the creation of Yungur chiefdom over a century ago.
“I must tell you these delegations present here today highlighted their commitment to fostering collaboration and development in the region.
“The creation of new chiefdom and Emirates will further strengthen the peace structure of the state government,” Dr Edgar said.
Also, Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Prambe , the Commissioner Ministry of Housing and Urban Development hailed the creation and appointment of the Chief and urged respect for the king.
Mr. Philemon Atombita, National Chairman of, the Yungur Development Association (YADA), Mr. had sought prayers and support for the new monarch to enable succeed in the discharge of his responsibilities and thanked Governor Fintiri for lifting Yungur nation.
