Provost College For Legal Studies Warn Students Against Exam Practice

The Provost College for Legal Studies Yola, Barrister Suleiman Ahmad has warned students of the college to desist from examination malpractice, drugs abuse and other forms of social vices including cultism in the course of their academic pursuit.

He gave the warning during the matriculation of the newly admitted student of the college for the twenty-twenty four and twenty-twenty five academic session held at the Marafa hall of the college on Saturday.

Barrister Ahmed explained that it is the responsibility of every student to uphold values and abide with the rules and regulations of the institution to enable them be good ambassadors of the college.

The provost, announced that the college has commenced online students service pointing out that students can register and cheek in any where in line with global best practices.

Barrister Ahmad noted that the college is currently working to upgrade its certificate from ordinary diploma to national diploma for the benefits of all.

He added the college is working with Northeast Commission Development and Adamawa state Water Board towards addressing issue of water scarcity in the institution.

The Provost while congratulating the newly matriculated students, advised them to dedicate themselves to their studies to enable them succeed in their studies.

Barrister Ahmed commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the chairman governing council of the college for working tirelessly to support the institution and urged them to maintain the posture.

In his remark, Chairman Governing Council of the college, Mr Amos Yusuf Wavah who was represented by Barrister Adamu Abdullahi, admonished students of the college to be good ambassadors of the institution by focusing on their studies.

Responding on behalf of the matriculated students, Hama Abdulmumini promised to be good ambassadors of the college.

The oath of allegiance was administered on one thousand five hundred newly matriculated students of the college by the registrar of the institution, Doctor Emmanuel Buba.
