Jibiro Community Leaders Urge Government to Improve Healthcare Facilities

The Jabbi Lamba community leaders in Girei local government area have appealed to government at all level to redouble their efforts in build more healthcare facilities so as to address healthcare challenges in the area.
They made the appeal during statakeholders engagement meeting organized by a nongovernmental organization Global Health and Social Awareness Foundation in collaboration with civil Society for malaria control Immunization and nutrition ACOMIN held at the District Head of Jibiro palace on Tuesday.
The Treasurer of ward Development committee (WDC )in the area, Bawuro Tukur commented that the only existing health care contained in the area lack inadequate staff,hospital equipments and portable drinking water,calling on government and nongovernmental organization to interven.
In their separate remarks, Secretary District Head of Jibiro Hali Bello and Wakilin  Jibiro Jabbi Lamba Babangida Ardo explained the healthcare facility in the area which was established in nineteen seventy four is over stretched with the increase in population in the area .
They solicited State Government to upgrade the clinic and built more healthcare facilities in the area to enable residents of Jibiro community to have access healthcare quality.
