Gongola Peoples Forum Yola has inaugurated newly elected Youth wing Officials of the forum.
Performing the ceremony Friday at Africa Hotel Jimeta, the National Chairman of the Forum, Engineer Markus Gundiri called on the officials to unite youth across the state.
Represented by Secretary of the Forum, Barrister Leonard Zidon, the Chairman admonished the EXCO to eschew any form of difference and favouritism, and employ wealth of knowledge in promoting peace, unity and tranquillity in the discharge of their duties.
Engineer Gundiri called on the officials of the forum to work together with youth wing to be able to be channel their co-values.

In his inaugural speech, the Youth Leader of the Forum, Comrade Umar Afkawa urged Youth to become Ambassadors of Peace and reject any form of violence, but promote understanding across religious and ethnic lines.
He said youth have constituted ninety percent of the population and decided to come under one umbrella for a common goal to discuss issues like insecurity.
Comrade Umar hinted that the youth wing of the forum will organise capacity building, leadership training and mentorship schemes for youths, and called on the Leaders to support them in delivering their responsibilities by reaching out to every community.
