“Education is our top most priority” Education Commissioner says

The Commissioner Ministry of Education and Human capital Development, Doctor Umar Garba Pella says education remains one of government’s priorities, expressing commitment to with any organisation working to uplift the sector. The commissioner stated this when he received instructional materials as support for local governments that have been ravaged by flood this year, donated by National Non-governmental Organisation, Kafamiya Rescue Mission
Handing over the materials at the state ministry of Education and human Capital Development in Yola, one of the Critical Stakeholder of Nkafamiya Rescue Mission, Mr. Medugu Sylvanus Stephen said the intervention is necessitated by the effect of flood that ravaged schools in communities of Adamawa State. The Materials include, exercise books, and other writing materials. In attendance during the handing over event were permanent Secretary in the ministry, Operating Officer of Nkafamiya Rescue Mission, Ayuba Irmiya Vandi and some Management Staff of both the ministry and that of the Organisation.
