Dr Paninga Confers With United Nations Leadership Excellence Award

The Executive Chairman, Adamawa State Planning Commission, Yola, Doctor Mary Paninga has been conferred with the United Nations Leadership Excellence Award for Peace tagged ‘Quintessential Award’.

According to the organizers of the event, the selection of Doctor Paninga as one of the recipients to commemorate International World Peace Day was in recognition of her commitment to peacebuilding and contributions to the public, human development, and humanitarian service.

Doctor Paninga has advocated for peace and promotes harmony within her community and across Nigerians through her various initiatives, including the Women’s Economic Emancipation Initiative.

After receiving the award, Doctor Paninga appreciated the organizers for recognizing her contributions to society and thanked all those who complimented with on the peace award.

The award ceremony which took place on Saturday at Merit House, Maitama Abuja attracted well-wishers within and outside the Federal Capital Territory.
