Chiefdom: Madagali Citizens Applauds Gov Fintiri

Citizens of Madagali, a local government area of Adamawa State, applauded the foresight of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in restoring the chiefdom.
They made the remarks separately during the presentation of the Staff of the office to His Royal Majesty Dr. Ali Danburam as Ptil Madagali by Governor Ahmadu Fintiri held at Gulak stadium amidst pageantry.
They pledged their loyalty to the crowned King for development to thrive in the chiefdom.
The state’s former Governor, Barrister Bala James Ngillari, while thanking the Governor for restoring the chiefdom taken away for a decade, explained that change is the constant way of human life. He also charged Ptil Madagali to ensure only people with proven integrity reside in his domain while the bag eggs within the community are flushed out.
The former Governor assured Ptil Madagali of their support and cooperation to enable him to succeed.
Also, an indigene of the area, Philip, said he was full of joy for witnessing the event, which the people have struggled with for years.
On their part, the Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, Denis Chinda Medugu, and the chairman of the local government, Simon Shashi, thanked the governor for listening to the yearnings of the people and assured Ptil Madagali of their support and cooperation.
