Adamawa State Assembly Passes Bill to Establish Road Transport and Traffic Agency

The Adamawa State House of Assembly has passed a bill into law to establish the Road Transport, Traffic, and Motor Vehicle Administration Agency in the state.
The bill was passed following its third reading during Monday’s plenary session, which was presided over by the Speaker, Bathiya Wesley.
The motion for the bill’s reading was moved by Ahmed Jingi Belel, the Deputy Majority Leader and member representing Maiha Constituency, and seconded by Musa Mahmud Kallamu, the member representing Mayo Belwa Constituency.
After the reading, Speaker Bathiya Wesley directed the Clerk of the House to prepare a clean copy of the bill for the Governor’s assent.
